Location. The El Cid Castilla Beach Hotel is located in Mazatlan, Mexico, two blocks from the Golden Zone shops, galleries and restaurants. Sport fishing excursions depart from El Cid Marina located two kilometers from the hotel.
Hotel Features. An expansive entryway leads to the resort's contemporary lobby. Three on site dining establishments include La Alhambra oceanfront buffet restaurant, El Alcazar international gourmet restaurant and the Beach Club Snack Bar. La Pergola Theatre offers nightly live entertainment. El Caracol Disco hosts evenings of music and dancing, plus theme night entertainment. This resort offers business services at its 24 hour front desk. Eight outdoor pools wind throughout the resort and include one of Mexico's largest infinity pools. Lifeguards monitor a private beach that is sheltered by three offshore islands. A 5,000 square foot fitness center features a climbing wall. Water sport equipment rentals are available on site. Nine lighted tennis courts, ball machines, video analysis and rental rackets are available. The resort's full service spa and salon contains steam rooms, saunas and spa tubs. Massages, herbal wraps, aromatherapy and facials can be administered in the spa or in beachfront cabanas. Cid's Kids Club provides a host of resort activities, including sand castle contests, for children ages 4 through 12.

Guestrooms. This resort offers 469 guestrooms with private balconies that provide pool or ocean views. Décor includes pale wood floors, dark wood furniture, ceiling fans, and navy blue and tropical print fabrics. Rooms include satellite television. Rooms are available under the All Inclusive or the European Plan.

Expert Tip. This activities oriented resort offers championship level golf at the Anton Garcia and at the Lee Trevino golf courses. The Lee Trevino course features the Lee Trevino Nine.
