The Disney Wonder took its first sailing on August 15, 1999. The same size as its sister ship the Disney Magic, the Wonder is 83,000 gross tons and has a total length of 964 feet. There are 875 staterooms with 73% of the staterooms having outside views and 60% of those have private verandahs. The interior of the Disney Wonder is art nouveau, characterized by an "art from nature" feel, with whimsical, swirling wave designs centered by a statue of Ariel from Disney's "The Little Mermaid". The colors of the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic are Mickey's colors: red, yellow and dark blue.
