Carnival Freedom is the newest of Carnival's Conquest Class cruise ships and sails from the port of Civitavecchia near Rome to destinations throughout the Mediterranean. With a capacity for nearly 3000 passengers, Freedom has many dining and entertainment options, a notable feature being a 12x22 ft LED screen outdoors on the Lido deck for viewing movies and sports. The ship went into service March 2007 has 13 decks, a length of 952 ft and a gross tonnage of 110,000.
