In operation since 1996, AIDAcara is the original Aida and mainly visits Mediterranean ports in the summer and the Caribbean in the winter. The ship, refurbished in 2005, is 634 ft long, can carry 1186 passengers and a crew of 370 and has 9 passenger decks, 1 pool, a fitness center, and a 540-seat theatre. AIDAcara is part of Aida Cruises which cater mainly to German speaking passengers.
